The area: Large Customer Sales
The regional Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams partner closely with our major advertising clients and agencies to develop digital solutions that build our clients' businesses and brands. We are in a unique and exciting position to shape how marketing and business is conducted in the digital age. We provide consultancy services across Google's broad range of solutions, from Google AdWords, to YouTube, to Mobile, that help our customers connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences and get the most out of the web.
The role: Industry Head, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
As Industry Head, FMCG, you will be driving our business with Google's strategic accounts within the FMCG sector. Armed with deep knowledge of Google's advertising products, industry knowledge, marketing trends and individual client needs, you will lead Google's relationship with some of the biggest advertisers in the world.
This sales role requires a combination of strong analytical, creative and relationship building skills. You'll meet client marketers, agency planners and buyers, build relationships at every level to help drive Google's business in the short and long-term. You will conduct thorough quantitative analysis to provide rigorous reviews of clients' business with Google and identify new business opportunities.
You will use our global data set to identify growth potential, share best practices and inform sales strategy and drive growth. You'll develop a deep understanding of clients' brands and consumers. You'll work with your clients' media and creative agencies to generate new ideas and creative ways of using Google's tools to deliver on their marketing objectives. You'll build compelling sales presentations which engage and excite your clients.
Responsibilities:
* Establish, build and extend strong relations with leading international FMCG companies and build sustainable relationships with our existing clients and their agencies.
* Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales presentations.
* Develop scalable and leading edge solutions for FMCG clients and agencies in order to optimise their advertising expenditures and maximise use of Google products (Search, Video, Display, Mobile etc).
* Lead global growth initiatives and large internal projects (business development, organisation and process sales effectiveness improvement).
* Work closely with the local and global FMCG teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
* BA/BSc degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
* Experience in the FMCG industry in sales and marketing and/or management consulting.
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA.
* Proven record of strategic development of FTSE 100 client base and ability to persuade and influence at C-level.
* Deep understanding of the industry's issues, a vision for its growth and a commitment to advance Google's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace.
* Proven success in managing complex, international projects and business development.
* Willingness to travel across EMEA and globally, 2-3 days a week.
* Fluency in English.
