Department Overview Our client’s Sales Organization offers enterprise customers more than 200 solutions within its security, storage and systems management software portfolios.
These solutions are delivered to customers through multiple sales channels, including Direct B2B, Value-Added Resellers and Strategic Partnerships. Responsibilities
• This senior-level sales account manager is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts through business to business sales of Our client software licensing, appliances and services to channel accounts accounts as well as some large enterprise Fortune 2000 accounts.
• Working with the District Sales Manager, develop and implement specific customer account and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
• Effectively engage sales resources: SE, Channel, ISO, Solutions sales teams and executives on the development and implementation of customer account plans.
• Using CRM, responsible for the development, management and closure of forecasted opportunities.
• Manage and drive revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies.
• Execute complex sales and effectively manage the sales process and activities.
• Meet or exceed sales quota.
• Work independently and remotely, receiving little supervision for most assignments.
• Interface to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires a minimum of 4-6 years demonstrated successful account management experience selling enterprise security and/or storage software to the executive level customer in the high-tech industry.
• 4 years selling technology to channel accounts. • Proven track record of strong and consistent achievement against quota.
• Ability to effectively partner with and engage internal sales resources, i.e. Sales
Specialists and Sales Engineers, as well as liaise with external partners at all levels.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to take account ownership. • Good analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent presentation skills.
